Hello. I made it myself. It's made of 4 120cm wigs. I tied furniture foam into tubes, wrapped them in nylon, sewed them to the nape of the base wig, cut the other wigs into wefts, glued them on the tubes and braided the tubes together. It can only be worn down the back and weighs about 3 pounds.
It's not too bad to move around, it does get heavy quickly though. I'd say about an hour and my neck is sore. That would be one reason for the parks not using it. They wig style they use now is seperate pieces, a short wig on the head, and the hair and braid are anchored to the bodice/shoulder. The other reason is simply photography. You don't see the hair in any front facing photos...little kids ( and probably parents and...well..anyone ) who want their photos with the princesses want to see her trademark hair in the photos they take with them and having it over the shoulder makes it 10000000x easier to have in the photo than trying to bend a foam-filled braid around your body.
As much as I like your take on Erza (and I think have added half of your gallery to my favorites) this is my favorite of all your cosplay pics.
The Rapunzel hair alone is amazing work. However, it is how natural you and your bf look as Rapunzel and Flynn that really makes this cosplay work. Especially like that look he has, not sure if he is ready to kick someone's tail end or wondering why his drink hasn't arrived yet.
